No one ever really outlives their mistakes.
I will admit that my Short Horror Story letters tend to follow a formula. I like to start with a personal anecdote that, in some way, tethers to the collection.
But this volume centers around youthful indiscretions coming back with a vengeance, and I’ve decided not to tempt fate. I’ll keep my college mistakes to myself, but I’m sure you won’t miss them. Not with what David and Taylor have in store for you.
In End Game, David Longhorn weaves a tale of how the consequence of one mistake can affect many, even if it takes years. And Taylor Charendoff shows that one drunken college night can get the devil on your heels.
Stories like these always remind me that it doesn’t matter when we make our mistakes; we’ll always pay for them, one way or another.
