So, have any of us recuperated from the retirement of Shane Ryan? I can tell you that I haven’t. And I can tell you that he isn’t gone forever. He’s too much. Too strong to slip away quietly. Keep your eyes open because Shane will show up now and again, to lend help to others of his kind.
Others like Connor Mann.
Connor’s a little different than the rest of us, which you should know is par for the course at this point. You’ve hunted the dead with Brian and Jenny, you’ve battled the Watchers with Shane and Frank. You may even have spent a little time in Sherman’s Library, or with Mason when he was a little boy.
The point is, you know that something’s coming, but you don’t know what.

Of course you would. Who wouldn’t?
There’s a great big world of ghosts out there, ghosts who do a little more than try to scare you. Some of these ghosts want to take your body for a ride … while you’re still in it. A few of them want to see just how sweet your soul tastes.
And sometimes, just sometimes, this world of ghosts comes to you.
Even when you don’t want it to.
Connor doesn’t want this particular world to come to him, but, as the song goes, you can’t always get what you want.
